70TH BOY SCOUT TROOP (1942)

Troop Meeting. Present 24 Scouts, 2 Rovers, 1 Scouter

The WoodPigeon patrol went up the Lyle Road to lay a trail which was followed at 5 minute intervals by the Foxes, Curlews and Peewits. The Curlews found the greatest number of signs.

Badgeworks (signaling and 2nd class compass) was done while waiting to leave to follow the trail.

Roy Farling and John Ellis passed their 2nd Class Compass tests. Also Duncan Kerr and Maurice Offord.
