Report from Troop Log

Seven boys of the Troop and the ASM, went for a walk to Everton. We got a lift in the car to the old paper mill from where we walked over the hill to Loch Thom, then along the Kelly Cut to Leapmoor reservoir – through Leapmoor woods and down to Everton. We found our way through the woods with the aid of a 6 inch survey map.  At Everton, we had a rest and picnic then walked down to Inverkip from where we took the bus home.  It was a perfect sunny afternoon and the outing was enjoyed by all.
