Weather:  Dull and very cold, but quite dry

 

Report from Troop Log

About 24 boys of the troop cycled to Everton in four separate patrols - all four patrols meeting under the railway bridge between Inverkip and Everton at 2:45 PM.

At Everton, various fire lighting and cooking tests were undertaken. The following tests being passed by me (Wilson Hill).

Firelighting:-

Austin Craigie, Andrew MacMillan, Eric Duncan, Paul Pryce, Frazer Millar, Ian Conn, John Ellis, Alan Nicol, Duncan Kerr, Roy Farling, Campbell Conn.

Cooking (2nd Class);-

Eric Duncan, Stewart Tosh, Neil Robertson, Austin Craigie, John Ellis, Alan Jubber, John Menzies.

At 5:45, we left Everton and proceeded home, once again as four separate patrols.

The woodpigeon patrol had spent the morning on the shore between Inverkip and Wemyss Bay.

George McGeoure was also present.

The weather was dull and very cold, but quite dry.
